Practice Summary/Captain’s Corner (last practice of the season) - 2/28/26
Hey guys, Captain Ryan here again! Wow, it’s hard to believe that today was our last practice of the season! The year truly flew by. It feels like just yesterday we were stepping on the ice for the first time back in September — full of excitement for the season ahead. And now here we are, already nearing the end.
Today’s practice had an incredible turnout. The energy was high, and the rink was buzzing. A huge thank you to Coach Myles, Coach Eric, Coach Steven, Coach Terence, Brendan, Bernard, and all of our amazing junior coaches for being there to make sure we worked hard, stayed focused, and most importantly, had fun at our final practice of the year. That’s what Daredevils hockey is all about.
We also had a great tournament in Rochester for those who went. To read more about it, click here: Rochester Tournament Summary
While our practices may be finished, the season isn’t over just yet! We still have some exciting games and tournaments ahead, which are the following:
*March 5–7 – Toronto Tournament
*March 7 – Long Island Tournament (for those not attending Toronto) – 3:30 PM
*March 14 – Away game in Voorhees Township vs. Philly Flyers Youth – 8:00 AM
*March 21 – Bucks County away game (A level players only) – 3:10 PM
*March 21 – Away game at Rye Playland vs. NY Raptors – 5:30 PM
*March 27–29 – Lake Placid Tournament
Let’s finish strong and carry the same teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship we’ve shown all season into these final games!
Also, save the date: our Bruce Giger Golf Outing & Dinner will be held on June 22 at Knoll Country Club. Make sure to mark your calendars — it’s always a great time for our Daredevils family to come together off the ice. And don’t forget to stay tuned for more details about our end-of-year party!
If I don’t see you at the next few upcoming games or tournaments, I hope to see you at the year-end party and/or the golf outing. Otherwise, have a fantastic summer, keep working hard, and we’ll see everyone back on the ice in September.
It’s been another great season, and I couldn’t be more proud of the teamwork and sportsmanship you’ve all shown throughout the year.
Also, a big congratulations to the USA Men's and Women's hockey teams! Way to bring home the gold!
Until we meet again, Happy Hockey!
