3/15/25 Game vs. Central Park Northstars in Prospect Park, Brooklyn @ 11:45am - Detailed Directions

The GPS address to give everyone for the rink is 101 Ocean Ave (not Ocean parkway) Brooklyn NY 11225. The entrance to the park is across the street from the GPS address at the intersection of Ocean Ave and Lincoln Road.

Once entering the park you need to turn on your flashers and proceed at 5MPH.

Proceed straight across the intersection crossing the wide road with the all the cyclists and runners. 

Once across follow the road which has a curve to the right and then straightens out to bring you into the right side of the parking lot and you can park anywhere. The entrance to the walkway to the rink is to the left side of the parking lot towards the front (where you just came in from). You need to get down to the plaza below (either steep uneven stairs or follow the path around. The rink is at the far end of the plaza away from the lot towards the lake.

There are no dressing rooms, just benches to change. It does get cold as it’s covered but wind can get through. Some players/parents put on some items, pants or under garments in the bathroom.

Depending on the weather we may have snacks and soft drinks in the parking lot following the game.

If Driving (there’s a free parking lot) : 

There is free parking available at Prospect Park. Getting to the lot and then to the rink is a bit tricky and it’s a decent walk from the lot to the rink so please give yourself extra time.

Directions for driving to parking lot ( Blue Line on maps below):

Enter park at intersection of Lincoln Road & Ocean Avenue (100 or 101 Ocean Avenue (not Ocean Parkway) for GPS)

Before entering the park you must turn on the car’s flashers.

Once entering with your flashers on you will need to proceed very slowly at 5MPH. You must yield to all bikers, skaters, runners, etc.

Once you enter the park Lincoln Road turns into E Lake Dr, you proceed straight on that road crossing the large road (East Drive) with Bikers, Skaters & Runners.

After crossing the large road continue going straight a few feet and follow the road (road turns to the right with many curved white lines on the pavement) and then slightly turns to the left.

Keep following that same road to the left (road now turns into Well House Road) until you get to the parking lot. Park in one of the first spots when you first enter as the walking path to the rink is located there.
